Ramadan is a month of blessings and prayers. In this month, Muslims from all around the world fast in the daytime. All kinds of food and drinks are forbidden from dawn to dusk, or daytime. It is a month of kindness which ends with one of the biggest festivals in Muslim calendar, the Eid-Ul-Fitr. The day starts with a meal which has to be eaten before dawn. Ramadan is actually the name of ninth month of Islamic calender. This month last 29 or 30 days depending on the appearance of moon at the end of the month. In this month, Muslims pray more than usual and refrain from all kinds of sins. People go out of their way to be kind to poor and helpless ones.
